We all need to take a day off every now and then. What better way than enjoying a day out at Henley Regatta. Our Summer Social event of the year.
Last Wednesday we invited our customers, our partners, and our friends all to join us at Henley Royal Regatta. We like to put on special events once a year and this was our 2024 event.
🌦 The day was a little overcast and drizzly however this did not dampen our spirits, in fact it really made very little difference to everyone enjoying themselves. 😎
The aim of the day was … well to be social! Everyone was definitely that. The discussions were flowing, the camaraderie was amazing and I think everyone got to meet everyone else.
🎪 We had a very relaxed day by the river. Taking in the atmosphere, being amazed at some of the blazers and wonderful outfits strolling up and down the river bank.
🍹 The Pimms, beer and wine were flowing. Buffet lunch served and consumed. The sun even made a fleeting appearance.🍹
It was rumoured that there was some actual rowing going on as well! I must admit that not many of understood much about the rowing part - that was until one of our own, Boh Tjarks joined us for lunch in his bright Red blazer of Kingston Rowing Club and managed to explain a thing or two about the sport.
Everyone enjoyed a special Buffett lunch and the weather brightened up so we could all sit outside and enjoy the company and scenery.
The next thing you know it was 4pm and time for the coach to leave with the crew who wanted to get back to the Elizabeth Line and home. Then the remainders carried on into the early evening before it was time to pack up and say goodbye to another great day at Henley Regatta.

Final thank you to Tom Wilson for hosting the coach to and from Maidenhead; Jenna for her help organising everything and to Thomas and Theo for being such stars on the day, helping set up and running the bar. 🍺
