What a result!!
On August 30th 2024 we had 105 people, 7 dogs and one baby out on our Ramble ‘n Rants in 16 locations!!
To hit the magic figure of over 100 people is flabbergasting whilst at the same time very refreshing.
People like net-walking. People like the Ramble ‘n Rants. They like it because they like:
being out in nature
walking is great exercise
the fact that conversations are different - more easy
It is one of the best ways I know to build and deepen relationships. here are some quotes from attendees:
My 3 favourite things: meeting fellow agency owners, walking and talking😊
Thank you for organising and a lovely way to spend a Friday morning! I look forward to a future one!
It was such a great way to spend a sunny Friday!! Great company, great chat and fabulous countryside!
Great fun this morning and good to meet the AA gang
Ramble and Rample...what I great idea and a way to clear the head.
New Locations
We had some new Locations this time so thanks to the new Ramble ‘N Rant hosts.
Kent, Essex, Surrey Hills, Peterborough, Hertfordshire
This was great to see - although a few struggled to get the numbers we want - it takes time sometimes to get these groups established.
Why Do We do this
Over 100 people that can contest as to how good getting out in nature is for you, for your body, your mind and ….. for your business.
Body - We all know walking is great exercise. Something most of us do not do enough off
Mind - this is the overriding reason why we organise the Ramble n’ Rants - to get people out from behind their desks and to prioritise themselves over their business.
Business - establish new relationships, and deepen existing ones. Discover new collaborations, referrals and partnerships.
Drop outs
Unfortunately we have a way to go with the last point. Despite having over 100 people out we had about another 40 that registered that did not show. In many cases they prioritised their business over themselves.
I get it - customers, deadlines etc and sometimes they cant be avoided. However with some assertiveness and canny diary management you should be able to prioritise yourself. Thats my Rant over!!
Our Wonderful Hosts
Thank you hosts! The only reason the Ramble ‘n Rants can happen simultaneously across the country is because of the wonderful volunteers that we have hosting them.
Without them these would not happen. So a HUGE thank you to every one of you. Also from an Agency Adventure a big thank you to Jenna who does all the organising behind the scenes.

Ramble for Good
Final announcement is that at the November Ramble 'n Rant we will be asking for a donation to charity when you register for the next Ramble ‘n Rant.
The amount is up to you.
The Agency Adventure is a business for good - we use our business to be able to benefit others.
We want to use this activity to raise money for good causes. All the donations will go to charity and The Agency Adventure will still cover the cost of organising and admin around the events.
See you in November!
